How do I get a Sera phone number?

Numbers are provisioned per location by the Sera team and attached to your voice agent.

Quick answer

Sera phone numbers are provisioned for you by the Sera team, one per location, and then attached to your voice agent. Self-serve number purchase is intentionally switched off, so contact Sera Support with the location name if a number is missing.

Steps

  1. Confirm the location exists under Locations.
  2. Contact Sera Support and give us the location name and the area code you want.
  3. Once provisioning finishes, the number appears under Phone Numbers and on the location record.
  4. At your current carrier, forward your published practice number to the Sera number.

Provisioning runs as a series of retried steps, so a temporary vendor error does not lose your place. Progress is visible on the provisioning screen while it runs.
