Voice & Calls

Why did a Sera call fail?

Check the call record first — a failed call is always recorded, never silently hidden.

Quick answer

Open Calls and find the call. Every call records its outcome, so the record tells you whether Sera never received the call, the call dropped, or Sera declined to complete an action.

Steps

  1. Open Calls and find the call by approximate time.
  2. Read the recorded outcome for that call.
  3. If the call never arrived, confirm the location's number is provisioned and your carrier forwarding is still in place.
  4. If Sera answered but lacked information, review the Voice profile and FAQs in Knowledge Base.
  5. If Sera declined to book, check Requests — that is usually your approval policy, not a call fault.

If it still doesn't work

If calls still fail:

  • Confirm the number is attached to a voice agent and appears on the location record.
  • Place a test call yourself and note the exact time.
  • Contact Sera Support with the location and the approximate call time. Please do not include patient details.
