In System Config under Insurance verification policy you choose who verifies: Sera runs the live check, Practice system uses the coverage already in Open Dental, or Hybrid uses your practice system first and fills gaps with a Sera check.

- Open System Config.
- Find the Insurance verification policy section.
- Choose Sera, Practice system or Hybrid.
- Save.
Strategy, timing and reverification are three separate settings — changing one does not change the others.
